Alley Art Festival is held in Downtown Aurora, just 40 miles west of Chicago.

Water Street Mall is a pedestrian-friendly area near City Hall, 44 E. Downer Pl. The mall is between Galena Boulevard and Downer Place.

Getting to the Festival

From Chicago/Milwaukee/Indiana:

Alley Art Festival is located at the Water Street Mall in Downtown Aurora, just 40 miles west of Chicago.

From Madison/Iowa:

Take I-88 eastbound to Exit 117 IL-56 E/IL-31 S. Turn right onto IL-31 S.

From St. Louis:

Take I-55 northbound to Exit 251 IL-59. Turn left onto W Seil Rd, right onto S County Line Rd, and left at the first intersection onto US-52 W. Turn right onto N Ridge Rd and left onto Plainfield Rd. Then, turn right onto S Madison St and left onto IL-25 N/N Madison St.

Metra to Aurora Transportation Center

Board from any of these stations on the BNSF line. Head south down N Broadway, turn right on E Galena Blvd and left on Water St.

Where should we park?

Please see parking section to the left. There are several free city lots. Suggested parking: Benton Street, city lots along Benton Street including Santori Public Library Lot at 101 S. River St. Aurora Regional Fire Museum public lot at 53 N. Broadway. Overflow parking available behind Hollywood Casino on River Street.

What does it cost to get into Alley Art Festival?

The festival is FREE! No admission costs to enjoy art, music, and more. It's important that art remain accessible to all.

Where is the Info Booth?

The Info Booth is located near City Hall at the southwest corner of Water Street Mall. Visit the Info Booth for Alley Art Fest merch, a map, and more!

Parking

Downtown Aurora features several parking lots for vistors.  You can learn more here. Bicycle parking is also plentiful, and bikes are available for rent nearby for city or trail exploration.
