Alley Art Festival is a local, grassroots outdoors art festival typically held at Water Street Mall in downtown Aurora on the LAST SATURDAY OF AUGUST. It’s a day of fun, music, and art – with tons of local artists!

Alley Art Festival was held on Water Street Mall in downtown Aurora between Downer and Galena for the first time ever on Sat. Aug. 28, 2010. It rocked! Art, music, performers, and more. A true community event - open to everyone. FREE!

Water Street Mall is a pedestrian-friendly area located west of Broadway/Route 25 and east of the Fox River in downtown Aurora, Ill. In 2022, the festival expanded its footprint to Downer Place.
